History Cherokee recognizes members of the community every year who have conducted projects and shown commitment to historic preservation in Cherokee County. Join History Cherokee as we honor this year's Historic Preservation Award winners.

Tickets are $30.00. The banquet includes dinner, cash bar, and a feature speaker. This year's keynote speaker is Archive Atlanta podcaster, Victoria Lemos. Lemos' talk will delve into her podcast and the importance of using nontraditional methods and tools for preservation advocacy.

The dress for this event is semi-casual. Registration closes August 11th, 2022 by 5pm. 

Cash bar opens at 6:30 pm. Program starts at 7:00 pm.

Victoria Lemos Biography 

Victoria’s passion for history — and the quirky, fascinating untold stories run deep. In fact, she created a podcast named Archive Atlanta that now boasts well over a hundred episodes and has proven to be wildly popular. As a result of the podcast, Victoria has been featured in Atlanta Magazine, invited into historic homes, asked to read manuscripts filled with unpublished historic insight, and collaborate on innovative arts projects.
