Volunteer Project List

History Cherokee will have a table at Denim Fest at the Mill this year. This year it's only 1 day and runs 11 a.m. - 9 p.m.  We will be there to share information about the History Center, sell select items from our gift shop, and encourage people to participate in a self-guided history trivia tour through the Mill. There will be one History Cherokee staff person and 1-2 volunteers at any given time during the day. Volunteer shifts will run 2-2.5 hours.  You will be able to sit down, and we will be under  tent. We have been told this year that we will be located at or near the entrance to the event space, so we should opportunities to talk to lots of people. Wear the black History is Here t-shirt or the blue historic preservation t-shirt (if you have one) and dress comfortably for the weather.
